The sound it pretty good, but the base isn't quit what I was hoping for. When you turn it on it makes this rumbly noise with lots of base so it seems like it could produce some serious thump, but the sound gets fuzzy when I turn it up. I do like that I can charge my iphone or ipod. I can see the light and dry bag coming in handy too as I'll take the Bravern with me when doing trail work. I've also used it as a speaker phone and it worked awesome!

Solid, no major complaints. My buddy got the Turtle speaker, by a company i never heard of, Outdoor technology, same concept, rugged speaker for camping. he claims it is more waterproof and we tested them side by side for sound and the Turtle sounded a little better, more bass, kinda like the look better too, less brick like. anyway, i like the braven, easy to use, like the rubber coating, loud and good sound, and see it is now 149 rather than the 179 i bought for, but i have decided to return it now that i see others that i may like better and i am within the return window.

Love this Braven Bluetooth Speaker. The sound quality is fantastic, and you can't beat the ease of the Bluetooth connectivity. No cords to deal with! It also is rugged enough that I don't feel like I will break it taking it camping.

Comes with a USB Flashlight that comes in handy more often than you would think! And you can also charge your iPhone through the same USB port.

Rough and Tumble!

I got this speaker on Friday and used it in several different scenarios this weekend. I had heard good things about this speaker, but it is WAY better than I expected!!!!!! I used it at a Patio Party Friday night, and it was loud and VERY clear. No distortion at higher volumes. My kids used it to watch a movie on their laptop Saturday, and it sounded great. the Rubber case, flashlight and dry bags are great extras. I have heard the Jawbone Jambox and I can say without hesitation that the Braven packs more BANG for your buck!!!
