Echo X0/X9 Complete Fat Bike

We’ve been waiting, for years now, for a legitimate, from the factory, no BS fat bike fork. There were modifications, fork crown shavings, and some real garage ingenuity we found on the Internet, but nothing that could touch a factory-designed suspension fork built around the fattest rubber this side of an ATV. The RockShox Bluto fork answered the call, and is spec’d here on the Borealis Echo. Borealis firmly believes that fat bikes are for everywhere, not just snow and sand, and we think the addition of the Bluto makes that a reality in a way previously impossible. The Echo you see here is finished off with a SRAM two-by drivetrain that’ll clear even monster 4.8in tires, and makes use of a 197mm thru-axle in the rear. This allows a completely dishless and incredibly strong rear wheel, which is made up of a Borealis hub laced to a Surly Turnagain FR80 rim. Up front is obviously the Bluto, and Avid’s BB7 mechanical disc brakes handle all the stopping duties.
