Description

Powerful and light with lots of pop.

To say that the Boardworks Veneer/Carbon Stand-Up Paddle is 'light' is a complete understatement. The bamboo veneer blade's foam core actually helps pop the paddle out of the water at the end of your stroke. With an upgraded oval shaft profile to help reduce hand cramps and a stiff, lightweight carbon shaft fabrication to give you more power with reduced fatigue, it's safe to say that it's much more than simply a 'lightweight' paddle.

Cool looks. Really light. Great stiff shaft. Pops out as advertised. However, also harder to push into the water. No problem for someone that "leans" into their stroke but very hard for my wife (who stands very upright) on the first half of her stroke. Returned for a Carbon Fiber/Kevlar Boardworks.

This paddle has a carbon shaft, and a wood vaneer blade. The wood gives it a cool wood look, without the weight of a full wood blade. Everyone loves this paddle. Only slightly heavier than a full carbon paddle, worth the extra weight in my opinion.
