It’s a chilly, windy Sunday. Pull on the Blurr Women’s Nitrogen Insulated Jacket and meet your friend at the crag. The windproof, water-resistant nylon face fabric on this jacket fights the elements, and light insulation keeps your muscles from tensing up in the cold. On Monday morning you can zip into this insulated jacket, slip your MP3 in the interior pocket, and enjoy your bike commute to work. The large hood on this jacket warms your noggin when you leave your beanie at home.
Great jacket. I wish the arms were an inch or two longer, but other than that I love the fit. It has kept me warm during some cold and snowy days, and I'm excited to try it out on my next climbing trip.
i bought myself this jacket as a holiday gift off steep ad cheap and i couldn't be happier! it is really warm and will probably not be functional in early fall or late spring even in north idaho, simply because i will get too hot! it is somewhat fitted and does not make you look like a puff-mallow. fits true to size. i am generally between a medium and large in women's shirts and a size 8 in pants, the medium jacket is perfect.

Got this through SAC and LOVE IT!!! Can't wait to wear it in the winter time. It's super warm, super comfy and soft. The hood fits perfectly. Very flattering fit. It's 90+ degrees here and I can't wait to put this jacket to lots of use this winter!!!
This jacket is great! It is warmer than my mountain hardwear subzero jacket. I'm 5 feet tall and the XS fit really well. It is freakishly warm (and windproof), so probably not the best for active activities, but it great to have while trekking across campus during a cold Utah winter. I would definitely have paid full price for this jacket, thank you steep and cheap :)
How warm is this jacket? I live in Saskatchewan, and the temperature regularly gets around -25 to -30 degrees Celsius (or colder) without a windchill. Will this jacket keep me warm in weather this cold?
When I got this jacket, I was concerned because it seemed so thin that I didn't think it would be warm. I was wrong. I was out cleaning off my driveway in 22 deg weather and I almost had to unzip the thing to keep from overheating. Speaking zippers -- does anyone ever really want to unzip a jacket from the bottom? The double-stage zipper provides this feature at the expense of being easy to get the zipper started. I would have traded it for a quick zip.
Also, when I tighten the pull-strings on the hood to make it fit around my head, it covers my eyes. Fortunately, it seems to keep my pretty warm even when the hood is loose.
The MP3 pocket is nice, but I would have rather had the access pocket on the outside, so I didn't have to unzip the jacket 1/2 way down to get to the player.
It's a nice lookin jacket and I like the inner lining on the sleeves. That goes a long way to trapping heat. If you can get by the few flaws, its good bang for the buck.
This is a great jacket. It's long in the back. It's so warm it's almost too warm... if that's a complaint. My only real complaint is the double zipper being tough to get started. It's true to size. I ordered a small, and there's still room for a light jacket or large sweater... not that you need another layer with this heat box! I can't wait to take it out to the crag and abuse it to see how it holds up!
My wife has this jacket and she loves it. She wears it climbing all the time and it has held up incredibly well. No rips, no snags, the insulation keeps her warm on even the crispiest late fall days in little cottonwood or the gnarly cold winter days climbing out at Ibex. The jacket is true to fit, the hood is just the right size (not too big, but not so tiny you get neck cramps), and the zippers have held up to tons of abuse. If we still have this jacket in stock when my down jacket blows up, I'll definitely snag one for my self.
Great jacket. I wish the arms were an inch or two longer, but other than that I love the fit. It has kept me warm during some cold and snowy days, and more...
i bought myself this jacket as a holiday gift off steep ad cheap and i couldn't be happier! it is really warm and will probably not be functional in more...
