When you sit at your desk looking thoughtful and busy, you're really just daydreaming about climbing at the Creek or bouldering in Bishop, or spending a summer in Yosemite. We know—we're doing it right now. The Blurr Heathen Pants have you covered when you ditch work and succumb to the climbing bug. The Heathens have a relaxed-fit and casual style that works at the office, but they feature the durability and comfort to excel at the crag. Blurr's brushed Oxford nylon resists abrasion, dries quickly, yet feels soft and breathes well. Triple-stitched seams stand up to sharp granite, and articulated knees and a gusseted inseam provide lots of movement for high-stepping. The Adjustable Set-it and Thread-it waist delivers a custom fit and eliminates the need for a belt, so the Heathens are comfortable to wear with a harness.
Bottom Line: Work? That's climbing sacrilege.

I would like to start by thanking UPS for losing my order and giving me the run around for a few weeks. Eventually the second pair of pants arrived and it was worth the wait. I am 6' tall, 200 lbs and the 36" waist (also listed as XL) fits great. The built-in belt works great to keep the pants in place. The oxford nylon fabric has a bit of a stiff feel to it, not uncomfortable at all, just a little stiff. I usually wear the pants while hiking but they double as casual pants. The tag on my pants indicated they were 93% nylon and 7% spandex, which allows the pants to stretch when needed. Also, the country of origin was China, not Aruba as listed on backcountry.com.

I like Blurr pants in general. However, there is some significant variances in the size/fit of the pants across product lines. I've had to send several pants back due to either being way too big or the opposite, nut-huggers. In the end, i have several pairs of 36 and 34 inch pants that fit identically. I assume this is due to a new company with a manufacturing process located in China. Hopefully Blurr will work out the sizing kinks in their manufacturing process soon. Outside of that, i've been very happy with Blurr products.
