Why We Like The BlueWater Ropes Sewn Prusik Loop

When backing up our rappel system, we reach for the BlueWater Ropes Sewn Prusik Loop. The cord ends are sewn together with strong 277 polyester thread by a precision computer-controlled machine and then reinforced with a plastic cover to boost abrasion resistance. The sewn ends minimize bulk and weight on our harness and ensure there is no knot that could come loose, all while continuing to meet strength requirements.

good but short

Familiarity:
I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

I know the length is listed but I assumed this would be useable for a double rope rappel. It is a bit on the short side and only allows 2 wraps for a prusik. Even then, though, it is a bit too short to have good control over your descent. Works better on a single rope rappel. still only wraps tice, but bites well and kept me safe hands free. (every time I have used it I extended my ATC and had the prusik on a carabiner on my belay loop.)
