Sheeva Ski - Women's

The Sheeva is the widest women's-specific ski in Blizzard's lineup, but it's no one-dimensional pow tool. At 104mm underfoot, it's an all-conditions ripper that can float through moderate powder up top, hammer heavy chunder in the middle of the mountain, and rally groomers back to the base. Blizzard endowed the ski with a solid amount of camber in the middle for edge grip on everything from killer corduroy to perfect windbuff, but rockered the tips and tails to provide lift in soft snow, smooth and predictable turn initiation, and serious slashability, so you can throw 'em sideways to scrub speed or kick up giant clouds of cold smoke.

Balancing stability and playfulness is the name of the game with a ski like the Sheeva, and the biggest contributor to the ski's dual personality is the Carbon Flipcore. It's made from a snappy combination of strong poplar underfoot and stiff-yet-superlight carbon at the tip and tail, and the core has been pressed using Blizzard's legendary Flipcore technology, which constructs the core in a traditionally cambered shape and then flips it upside down, avoiding the re-pressing that's usually required to give a rockered ski its shape. The result is a ski that has a super smooth and lively flex, making it perfect for bouncing through deep snow or popping from edge to edge on hardpack. Full sidewalls cut out squirrely torsional twisting and direct power into the edges for bomber grip and control, and Blizzard topped the Sheeva off with a titanium binding interface to provide killer strength in key underfoot zones for reliable binding mounting.
