Ready for the coldest ski days of the season, the Black Diamond Men's Zone Pant is the warmest Gore-Tex ski pant in Black Diamond's line. PrimaLoft Silver insulation traps lower body heat from escaping when the temperature plummets into teeth-chattering territory, ensuring high levels of warmth when everyone else has retreated indoors. Loaded with an industry-leading waterproof/breathable Gore-Tex 2-layer membrane and fully taped seams, the Zone Pant keeps you pleasantly dry when you're making first tracks through snorkel-deep powder. Additionally, you'll find offset side-venting for quickly expelling built-up heat when you're climbing quickly up a steep skintrack.
Featuring an integrated PIEPS pocket, the Zone Pant is designed for skiers looking to ditch the resort's boundaries for the untracked powder and blissful solitude of the backcountry. This easy-access PIEPS pocket features Poron XRD Impact Foam to protect your beacon, should it take a few bumps along the way. Additionally, it features an integrated internal harness that attaches to your beacon as a low-profile alternative to wearing a chest harness.

- Q & A
Nice pants for a great price
- Familiarity: I've used it several times
- Fit: True to size
- Size Bought: large
These are typical Black Diamond heavy duty construction ski pants that fit me nicely in a large; 6'2" and 170lbs. They have good ventilation when touring that is definitely needed because they are very warm. The material used on the inside boot area is bulletproof to prevent ripping from crampons and ski edges. They seem pretty breathable when using them on lift served skiing and the pieps pocket is a great addition with the hidden attachment to the built in belt. I gave them 4 starts because the fly is tiny and fiddly. Also the lower zipper to adjust the boots is a good idea in theory but the inside gaiter fits very tightly and renders access to buckles almost useless. It does serve well in circulating air through while touring. Overall a good buy.
