i bought this for my 5 year old niece, who has a 19 inch waist, it fit perfectly and was extremely safe. there is no doubt the quality you expect from an adult harness is used on this kids harness; Black Diamond took no short cuts!

ps - my niece was the talk of the gym when she put on this killer harness.

I got this for my 5 year old, he's on the skinny side so it was a little to big for him but we're saving it for when he grows a little. It's just like the adult harness in a smaller size, I'm sure it's going to perform just as well as the adult harnesses by BD.

My kiddo loves this harness - from the gym to the crag, it performs flawlessly. No complaining ever of an uncomfortable harness, easy to adjust, and it seems to be wearing very nicely. Much better then trying to make an adult harness "do".

I bought this for my son. He is about 70 lbs. He love this harness, very comfortable. We also take his sister climbing, who is about 45 lbs. The harness fit her great as well. It goes on easy, and the kids feel very safe in it. I see plenty of room for this to grow with my son. Am very happy with this product, would buy one again.

He is now super excited about climbing and has started leading (on a top rope). And he is comfortable. In fact he doesn't want to take it off when he is done. I am not sure how long this will fit him, as it is perfect right now. But for now, it is great.

I bought this harness for my five year old girl instead of a full body harness. Great choice. She loves it and she loves having a harness that looks like mom and dads.

This is a great harness for my 6-year old daughter. She's used it several times. It's easy to put on and take off and she feels secure in it.

I have these for my girls 5 and 7 years old. I had purchased the Black Diamond Momentum in XS as I had read other reviewers say that it worked for their kids ages 5 through 8. Well, it was a joke. The waist for an XS was still 3-5 inches too big on my kids. So I plunked down the money on these and it's good. The BD Momentum did not have adjustable leg straps. These do. The only thing that I would have liked to have seen on this harness, would be to have velcro for the front like my BD Primrose AL.

I was nervous about the harness being to small for my daughter, but it fits great on her. She's tall and skinny like me and the harness fits snug on her. Great size range!
