I am looking to buy some harnesses for a summer camp rock wall. They need to fit a pretty wide range of kids between ages 9 and 12.

What size and age range will the wiz kid harness be able to fit?

My son decided he wanted to be a big boy and ditch his full body Petzl. We had him try on this and the Edelrid Finn. The Finn was great because the waist was adjustable, meaning his tie in point was always centered. It also had a sliding buckle, meaning putting it on and adjusting it was much faster. Unfortunately the color scheme and padding were the downfalls.

That's where the Wiz Kid comes in. It has enormous amounts of padding, making it comfortable to hang in for a long time. It also has a better color to it, two options (instead of unisex), and has 'cool' gear loops.

4/5 because it could be better with a sliding waist belt and sliding adjust buckle.

My kids were getting so sick of the full body Petzl harness (although that was a very safe alternative for them when they were smaller). They were super excited and fired up about an adult looking and performance harness. They find it comfortable and I find it safe.

Bought this for my 7 year old daughter and it works great. She loves it and is so proud! It is easy for her to get on and it looks like it will fit her for may years still. She is smaller than average for her age.

Bought this for 6 & 7 year old and first climbing and rappelling sessions...very comfortable, durable and the doubleback closure ensures security on closure/tightening...no complaints as to fit, comfort or the like...will get several years wear and tear for sure..

You'll probably be better off with a full body harness, the resting position in a standard climbing harness is a seated position, and you can't safely attach a line to the back of this, not very angelish. However, if you have some other configuration worked out this harness is great, you can flip kids through the air in all directions and this thing'll held them.

Works exactly as advertised. Good quality and fit. Highly recommended. I can find no faults with this harness, the kids love it, and the price is right. Nice piece of beginner equipment, fits my nine year old perfectly and seems like she will have at least two or three more years with it.

She's 52 lbs. if I feed her any more it will not fit much longer, one size fits " few" not all- best bet on kids girls harness's go XS womens you will get many years of growth out of it, Wiz kid Harness is made well and is adjustable to some extent, if your lil boulder baby loves Placsti'n and the rocks go womens small, other than that- outstanding product if you want to replace it next season. Kids grow fast when they eat plenty of vegetables!

It means that you dont have to double back the webbing on the harness for it to be safe. This makes it faster, easier, and safer to adjust while climbing.
