More comfortable than the speed harness
For a Zip line
- Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
Purchased one of these for the rider of a zipline. Works great, no complaints from the wearers.
Good for what it is
We use a couple of these at my work, and while we don't use it often at all, the simplicity of this chest harness is appreciated. Much like the BD vario speed harness, there is no padding but the webbing used is wide so applies pressure to a wider area. It's clear if you get it twisted and easy to tell if someone els has it on correctly. Not the most useful but it does the job in easy style.
Simple and basic
As the title says, the harness is not elaborate but does the job. The webbing is wide so it is more comfortable than using standard 1in webbing to make a chest harness. Black Diamond also makes quality gear so I expect this harness to standup to whatever I throw at it. The harness also has a great deal of adjustment and I have a large chest with a tall torso and was still able to get a good fit without any trouble. No tie-in for the back but it isn't needed. Using the tie-in in the front works perfectly well by itself.
