    Black Diamond's Women's Vapor Point Shell Jacket serves up a lightweight, minimalist design that doesn't skimp on performance. The lightest shell in Black Diamond's line of technical hard shells (9.8 oz), the Vapor Point utilizes a Gore-Tex Active 3-layer shell to provide maximum breathability and excellent protection from the elements, while keeping the weight down.


    Every feature put into work on this jacket keeps weight and performance at the top of the priority list. The Vislon PU-coated front zipper provides a waterproof closure to the front. Meanwhile, the Cohaesive cord management technology integrates the cord-lock hardware in the jacket to provide quick and easy one-handed adjustments to the hem and hood while wearing gloves. The lightweight, custom-molded hook-and-loop cuff tabs allow you to lock the heat in at your sleeves, without adding a whole lot of weight to the equation.

    Love this Jacket!

    I am super stoked to own one of these jackets. Totally wind proof and 100% water resistance, Gore Tex really does the job. Stuck my arm under the shower head while wearing this jacket, just to see how it would do. The water simply beaded off and I was completely dry underneath! While the jacket doesn't let wind or water in, its very breathable so you don't get that clammy feeling that some rain jackets have after you've worked up a sweat. Note: this jacket is a shell, and does not generate heat. In colder weather a fleece or insulated layer underneath will keep you nice and toasty while the Vapor Point Shell keeps you dry on the outside. It's also a slimmer cut, which I appreciate! Highly recommend it!

    Loved the color (red)! Fit great through arm, shoulder, and bust...but not the hips. REALLY wish more outdoor manufacturers would account for us ladies with hips and a little more on the backside.
