THE BEST REVIEW OF ALL TIME

roughhhhh

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times

this is some rough chalk! I got it to put in my bag with a chalk sock. im hoping that this stuff will break down and become more fine as I use it and abuse it. definitely sticks to my hands and keeps them dry. I noticed a big difference in how frequently I needed to reapply after I started using this!

Climbing Gold

  • Gender: Male
  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I like this chalk over a few other brands that I have tried because it sticks to my hands better keeping my hands dry and ready to grip. Plus is has a cool name. It might be better if they called it

Great Chalk

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times

I use this chalk bouldering and it keeps my hands dry. Chalk is chalk it does what it is supposed to do.

The Tony Montana of Chalk

If you buy the 300 gram bag, you should definitely get a scar face photo because that's a lot of chalk.

Love the white powder

This stuff gets ya going!

yep, its chalk

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

No complaints, it is chalk and does what it is supposed to do. Can't say that I have noticed a difference between other brands, but I am probably not that picky either.

It's chalk!

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

Good on the hands, breaks apart with ease, tastes okay, and is a secondary to blood for trail marking!

Resealed the bag like a CHAMP!

...Alright it took me 3 tries to reseal the bag.

The packaging gave me fits like my 5 year old cousin. I had a moment of panic almost like when you open a bag of peanuts on an air plane and the peanuts go all over the place.

Luckily the crisis was averted and I managed to have a safe opening! After that I got me a hand full-o-chalk and climbed like I was Alex Honnold.

Alright....so maybe me climbing like Alex Honnold isn't evn close to being true but I had a killer time at the bouldering gym and enjoyed having plenty of quality chalk at a great price!

Good chalk!

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times

What can I say? It's high grade, drys my hands, and makes a mess like all good chalk should... ;) but if you are careful, you *can* reseal the ziplock bag it comes it. :)

Does the job!

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

This chalk is great and has lasted a while. This is my first time not using a chalk ball and I really like it. Its good quality chalk that does the job!

Good chalk, dry but not sticky.

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I like to mix White Gold and Super Chalk about 25:75 because the super chalk is not as dry but it is stickier and harder on your hands. Until you get OCD and picky I don't think most people will notice a difference but I like mixing them.

I actually do the exact same thing with the exact same brands! I thought I was the only one! :)

It's chalk

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

Not the best, but definitely not the worst. In a pinch, I'll usually go for White Gold since it can be found just about anywhere at a decent price.
Dries your hands nicely and has a finer texture than Metolius chalk, but still doesn't come close to Bison Designs chalk.

On a side note- who designs these bags? I've never been able to seal the bag back up and chalk usually ends up everywhere :/

Does what it's supposed to.

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

Im not picky about climbing chalk, I just need stuff that dries my hands. Pretty straightforward. There are a lot of chalks on the market that do this, and this stuff is one of those. Done deal.

soft and light

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I have used a few different chalks including the metolius super chalk and the white gold is hands down better then it. It is really light and you dont need to use to much to dry out your hands, so it last longer then most chalks.

does the job!

Soft Chalk

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

This Black Diamond Uncut chalk crumbles in your hands as you dip into the chalk bag. It does its job by drying up sweat on your hands. Works great, not looking to change to another brand anytime soon.

In all my chalk bags

In all my chalk bags

Nice and powdery so it coats your hand quickly for those mid-crux chalk-ups on perilous holds.

This is a sweet pic. Not to mention the same chalk bag I have. I love it.

Great chalk

I have the bagged version, and it is my favorite chalk out there. Dries your hands well, and it doesn't feel slippery. As long as it is around, I will be using this chalk. Awesome!

Not quite "uncut"

Was hoping for a little more block and a little less powder. But the chalk is excellent. In the future I'll probably buy the pure blocks and break it up on my own. But for the time being, white gold will keep my hands dry.
