Why We Like The Trail Back Trekking Poles
We give our joints a little relief with the Black Diamond Trail Back Trekking Poles. The three-section design and reliable FlickLock extension system means we can pack them down and throw them on the pack when we need our hands free during those steep, scrambly sections of trail. We like that the molded rubber grips have a soft EVA foam extension so we can choke up on them when we're side-hilling.

Perfect weight
Nicely weighted and compact. Rides on my backpack easily and available when I need them for the downhills.

Trekking poles
High quality trekking poles for a good price. I hike frequently and have beat my previous pair into oblivion (after 6+ years!) and treated myself to a new pair. Fingers crossed they hold up as well as my last pair.

Review of Black Diamond trail Series Trekking Poles
These are very sturdy, strong poles, and they look great. The grip is fine. And the flicklock adjustment for the poles look strong. These poles should last a long time on the trail.

Trekkers
My girlfriend and I just used these on a long weekend hike and we loved them. We had multiple creek crossings, different surfaces and all surfaces under different stages of wet (rain, hail and snow), and these were the best addition to have. Sturdy yet flexible. The flick lock system seems super sturdy too. I wish these would have come with a set of rubber caps for the carbide tips, but I would 10/10 buy these again. Excited to use them during hunting season.

Great product
Nice inexpensive hiking poles. Flint lock design for easy adjustment. I recommend flint lock design for heavy duty hiking. I also recommend aluminum design for hiking in rocky areas, Nevada for one. I have had multiple carbon poles break due to stress and scrapes.
