- Q & A
- Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
Nice low easy to pack gaiter. I use trail running shoes for backpacking, so these add a layer of protection without adding a lot of weight. Easy to get on and off.
No one wants sand in their shoes
- Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
easy to pack, lightweight and kept the sand out of my shoes.
all around good
Lightweight... simple... works with my boots and my trail runners. No hassle gaiter to keep the rocks outta your shoes. Highly recommend!
What's the inside diameter of the lower...
What's the inside diameter of the lower (boot) opening? I need to know if they will fit over buckled tele boots.
That will fit boots measuring 14-19 inches in circumference.
In addition, these are 7 inches tall.
Is there a strap or cord to keep the gaiter...
Is there a strap or cord to keep the gaiter from riding up on the boot? Or at least eyelets that a cord could be run through?
These do have eyelets and removable nylon cord heel straps.
Anyone have problems/success with this...
Anyone have problems/success with this gaiter? Haven't used a BD product before... looking for lightweight.
I've had these for a year and have worn them extensively in the Wasatch and on Mt.Rainier. In slushy wet snow or in deep pow I prefer a taller gaitor but these are perfect and light weight for most conditions. I dig em!
