Black Diamond designed the Men's Stance Belay Insulated Jacket for climbers who don't want to lug any extra ounces to the crag or up long multipitch routes. With strategically placed PrimaLoft Hi-Loft insulation keeping you warm and a lightweight double-DWR-treated Pertex shell wrapping you in water-resistant comfort, the Stance is as solid for single-pitching as alpine routes, and it weighs under a pound so the approach won't be any worse than it has to be.

The Stance comes complete with stretch gusset cuffs that seal out those blustery blizzards without restricting the mobility you need to send or belay your buddy carefully. A drawcord at the hem retains the jacket's insulated warmth, and Black Diamond supplied a generous amount of space in the chest pocket for your headlamp, lip balm, and gloves. There's even an internal media pocket, so you can blast some tunes to make that chilly belay feel a little bit less lonely.
