Stellar economy ice glove

  • Familiarity:I've put it through the wringer

If you don't want to spend and arm or leg on a pair of ice climbing gloves these are your answer. They last a long time considering how much abuse an ice glove takes with ropes burning on them and screws tearing it. They dry much quicker than full leather construction gloves too.

Excellent midweight glove

  • Familiarity:I've put it through the wringer

I've owned my fair for a few seasons now and am impressed. They barely show any signs of use, so the durability is terrific. The Gore-Tex membrane will keep your hands nice and dry or deep days. There are my go to wet/ 20 degree day glove. They aren't really meant for super cold days, but work perfect in the temperature range they suggest.

Work-horse of a glove

The Black Diamond Renegade glove may not be the warmest glove or the cheapest glove, but they happen to be the most dependable work-horse of a glove. I've used these gloves more than any glove I own and have seen a lot of abuse from skiing. Their construction is top notch and they continue to be extremely waterproof. The only downside is that they aren't very warm in the middle of winter but for most of the time here in the PNW they are exactly what you need; a mid-weight waterproof glove. When these gloves have seen to many ski days, I will buy the exact same glove.
