The Black Diamond Punisher Ice Glove bridges the gap between ultralight and ultra-warm models to let you take on super-technical ice and mixed pitches in cold conditions. Their fleece lining keeps your hands warm without inhibiting the dexterity you need for technical moves and gear placements. The Punisher Ice Glove has a stretch Schoeller softshell with a BDry waterproof breathable membrane to give you excellent moisture protection. Black Diamond even added a tough Pittards Aromortan leather palm, because swinging tools, placing screws, and belaying can take a toll.
Bottom Line: When the going gets steep and weather gets cold, put your hands in the Black Diamond Punisher Ice Glove.

great glove,borrowed a pair ice climbing in Ouray.Upon my return to reality i bought myself a pair and will use them on Everest this March in particular on the Lhotse face.

These thing work great for steep ice and even mixed climbing... and that's with leashless tools. Black Diamond seemed to find just the right mix of insulation and dexterity. They do get wet eventually, but the waterproof is pretty good. The only thing I don't like about these gloves is that I only have one pair. Time to do something about that...

I have been using these gloves to ski in this winter. I like the padding on the back of the hand as well as the small cuff that fits under my jacket sleeve. The durability is quality as well.
