Description
Designed for backcountry enthusiasts, the Powerstretch works great for urban applications, as well. (Think gripping a icy steering wheel in winter.)

I live in a warm, rainy area. I use these gloves when it rains and they are great! Warm, comfortable, it's like if you are not wearing anything! I can even work with tools, install a nut, etc... Love them.
great glove all around

The Powerstretch glove is the perfect glove for hiking, driving, walking around town, putting on your ski boots, or any other activity that requires gloves that are not bulky, but are warm and have good traction. They are the perfect weight to put a thin shell over on warmer ski days. They are machine washable and are easy to waterproof.

This pair of gloves is very good. It fits very well on my hands and protects against the cold. Theyre very flexible, Im even able to take notes in class. However, you still can't type with this pair of gloves on. Highly recommended!

Very comfortable, the power stretch gives great dexterity and the Polartec provides enough thermal insulation for light use. The palms were uncomfortable when wet (worn as a base under a fleece liner and a shell). I was surprised that after only a week of use, a seam on the index finger is unraveling. I bought these as a base layer and a camp glove for an extended bike tour, and it is clear that I cannot trust this glove to last. I am disappointed in Black Diamond quality control.
I rank these gloves 5 for fit and comfort, 4 for function, 2 for quality.
Great lightweight glove.

This glove is thin, but extremely warm. I wear them alone while skinning, they are extremely breathable and provide just enough warmth to keep my hands from sweating too much. The glove is thin enough to fit inside my outer gloves. They are also a good glove for running, driving, and for walking around town. The only downfall is no sticky grip on the fingers. Overall, I am extremely pleased with this glove and would strongly consider getting another pair when they wear out.
Nice, but girlish..

These gloves fit very nice great for work if you need to grab paper type items (Good Grip). Looks girly though. Not a manly looking pair of gloves. Also, not as warm as I hoped it would be.
great value!

I bought these for a winter vacation trip to Japan. I also had a nice pair of leather gloves with cashmere lining and they didn't keep me as warm as these gloves cause they weren't as snug and cold air would get in. These gloves were very snug which also allowed me to do many things while still wearing the gloves. However, there were still many times when I had to take them off to get things done, like opening up a map or dealing with paper, etc. These gloves are pretty comfortable but they COULD be a little more comfortable as the stitching on the palm is noticeable. All in all these gloves performed great for being so thin, lightweight and cheap.
Great product

Got these for my girlfriend for flying her paraglider in not-so-cold weather, where you need dexterity, some protection from line burns, and some warmth. It's very hard to find good XS gloves. These are great.
This is a simple and perfect glove!

I needed something flexible, and something that fit my long fingers, for warmth during riding my bicycle and during camping/hiking. I think I might still need another glove for climbing around on rocks, and a cover for this shell if I were planning to touch snow, but for what it is it is fantastic: simple, thin. I can still do things that need precise finger motions, and warm - and they fit! I'd buy my next gloves from this brand, too.
Better than expected

Kept hands warm in strong, cold winds, but then did not get too hot during warm sunny conditions during aerobic activities. Better than expected.

I use them as mitten liners, for which they are great: when you need to do something with requires dexterity (tying laces, adjusting bindings etc.), you don't need to expose any skin to the biting cold. The quality of the fit is great -- nice and snug.
They're not tremendously warm: it would have to be a very mild day to make you want to wear them as a single layer on your hands. If they were thicker, however, they'd probably be clumsy and not be so good for gear manipulation.
My one reservation is their longevity. The stitching in one palm is unraveling already. I'm not sure if this reflects poor design, or a manufacturing defect. Most likely it was caused by my carrying skis with sharp and/or jagged edges.

I am a police officer and have a hard time finding a glove that is both warm, comfortable yet thin enough to perform simple tasks like writing a report with the glove on. The powerstretch glove is all of these. I really have enjoyed the glove and will not hesitate to tell others about it.
Love These Gloves!

Best glove I've had in a while. The windstopper combined with the snug, easy fit is awesome. I wanted something that could be worn in snow, rain, cold and ice...and these do the job. Works great for a liner or on it's own, so i stay warm and wet free! I highly recommend these to anyone looking for an all around glove for all around activities.

These are great gloves. I wanted a glove that A. Could be worn under my shell glove in 20-30 degree weather (Current liners were too warm for skiing/snowshoeing).
B. Would at least resist snow and wind if worn alone.
These gloves fit that description. The powerstretch wicks like magic, keeping hands dry on the way down the mountain and therefore warm on the lift ride back up. They offer great feel, and you can do almost anything with them on (type, change cd in car, etc). Wind and dry snow stay outside, but prolonged snowball fights, snowman building, etc will make them soak through. The great "sticky" surface of the leather palm loses it's stick the first time they get wet. Overall the gloves are warm and well made.
