Nice and bright !

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

Love this little guy . Super light and compact ,I find myself using it more often than I thought I would . Saves the battery on over using my headlamp for every little thing .Would recommend this for sure.

Bright and light

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times

This is an awesome light works great and it's nice and compact and light weight. Pits out a good amount of light. And the dimmer function comes in handy when you just want enough light to read.

Mini Powerhouse

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

The initial reaction I usually get when I whip this lil' badboy out is the "Are you kidding me?!" Once it's on, everyone is happy.

Bought it twice

  • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

I bought one as a gift then liked it so much I bought one for myself. Super light-weight but sturdy and bright. I haven't taken it out on the trail yet but it seems like a great tool.

Bright Light

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times

I was surprised at just how bright this light can be. It is great for keeping the tent lit or for cooking in the dark. The flash light ability is nice if you need to find your way around camp. Overall it is a Bright light for the price and weight.

low weight, bright enough

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times

Great for keeping the tent lit on backpacking trips.

Less = More

  • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

I didn't realize how small this was going to be until I got the box and thought it was the batteries. It's tiny! The thing can really light things up for how small it is, though. It obviously isn't made to illuminate your entire campsite, but it's great for lighting up your tent.

Really cool little lantern

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times

Super bright, almost weightless and really compact. Great purchase for backpacking or for use in a tent while camping, or just to have around as a cool emergency light.

Camping Buddy

  • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

Let's just say I've found my new favorite battery operated device haha...but seriously, I did. Small, bright, light-weight. Much better than the old, chunky Coleman lantern I was using! And for the price, you can't beat this deal! Lights up a 2P tent nicely, and the dimmer-switch is definitely a bonus. Plus, these lanterns come in a bunch of fun colors. Plenty of reading light in my two-man. If you close the light but leave it on, makes for some good mood lighting ;)

Space Age Light Source

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I love the space theme BD did for their line of lanterns. I was looking for a lantern that would be lightweight, but would provide enough light to read by or by cards next to. I went for the smallest (the Orbit) and it's suited perfectly to my needs. Very lightweight, and compacts down so tiny! A very worthwhile purchase.

I was amazed at how bright it was! Great luxury item!

Nice addition to anyone's gear arsenal!

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times

This little guy is amazing! Whenever I go backpacking I simply clip this guy to the top hook inside my tent and use it when situating myself for sleep. It has a nice output that is great for illuminating your tent or setting near a campfire to light up food, stove, water etc... It is also very small and compact, thus great for exploring the backcountry. I would highly recommend this for anyone who wants their second home to be filled with light.

So Awesome! ... & CUTE!

  • Familiarity: I've used it several times

Purchased this to light up my glorified North Face bivy while hiding from the elements & it couldn't be more perfect. It is small, lightweight & puts of a great amount of light considering its size. Seems to built well & has held up great.

Unbelievable!

  • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

How can something so small be so bright? I gave this to my son for Christmas & he was thrilled to see how small it was & easily fit into his backpack! We have not used it camping but we shut the lights out & were very impressed. I have so much faith in this little guy I bought another!

Thought y'all might enjoy a comparison of the low vs. high setting on this light. Here's a view from the side.

I should point out that it's a dimmer: you can adjust the light to any setting between these two extremes.
