Black Diamond built the Oasis Tent for groups of three who want to shave weight on long trips but like the comfort of a double-wall tent. Thanks to SilNylon materials and DAC Featherlite poles, this tent makes the cut for nearly any trip into the backcountry. The Black Diamond Oasis Tent also makes a great pick for extended stays in the Valley (or your own local playground) when you want a little extra space for waiting out the storms. The full-coverage fly ensures you don't feel a drop of water, and mesh walls keep you cool when the temperatures rise.
Bottom Line: Wherever you go, the Black Diamond Oasis Tent provides the spacious interior and low weight you want.
Every time I use this tent I love it more and more. The very first time I took it out it ended up snowing and we stayed dry and without condensation in the tent all night. Just the weekend before last we went camping in the rain and I discovered, much to my delight, that it's possible, and even easy to set up, and take down the tent UNDER the fly, if you have a footprint as well. It takes me under 4-5 minutes to set up, fly and all, even at 2 am with no moon. I purchased this tent for myself and my daughter, knowing that I would want extra space or the two of us. .. We could practically live out of this tent, and essentially do anymore, so far this season. It's plenty spacious for the two of us and all of our gear. When I'm packing without my daughter it's almost too much space; That master suite of single person camping set-ups. :) The vestibule is large enough that I've been able to stash my wet pack, clothes and shoes there to dry after packing in the rain. Without the fly, I've thoroughly enjoyed the meshy walls and ceiling. It makes for some seriously primo star gazing. The two doors are perfect, making it easy for me to get my daughter down and then come in and out as I please without disturbing her sleep. Also makes it easy to shake all the guck out of the tent when clean up time comes around. If I could complain about anything at all it would be the packed size of the tent. It's a little large as far as a 6 1/2 pound tent goes, but that's nothing that cant be fixed with tight bundling and a compression sack. Original packaging though, I do appreciate that the tent bag comes with an outside pocket for stakes and guy lines, and an interior pocket for the pole structure... Which is brilliant, by the way. 1 pole. My 3 year old understands how to set up this tent on account of it. She's not quite tall enough to do so yet, but she gets it. This tent is of the loves of my life. If you're on the market for a spacious, durable, joy of a tent for two people, ABSOLUTELY consider the Black Diamond Oasis. ... Such a sexy purchase.

We have had this tent for a year and love it. It has withheld a couple of good rain storms with no leaks or problems. One thing I like about this tent is the rain fly stays tight throughout large temperature changes. All my other tents get "saggy" and need tightened after cool weather or rain hits. It is a bit cozy but can definitely fit three. We use it for 2 plus a dog and have plenty of room for gear. I have found you have to be careful on which reviews to take seriously when looking at tents because a tents performance is greatly dependent on whether you properly set it up or not. I always use all the stake out points because you never know when the weather is going to get bad. I have also found its hard to find a tent review that doesn't say the tent is small. I always buy a tent rated for one more person than I intend on using for so I can stretch out.

Slept in this tent for a three-day kayaking expedition in Southeast Alaska (extremely wet rainforest region of Alaska). This tent was easy and quick to set up with fly and staked into the ground. Even commented on how incredibly easy/simple the fly was to put on. Slept two with lots of gear very well; would never try to squeeze three into this tent. Vestibule was large enough to keep our wet paddling gear safe and able to dry out. Was a bit concerned by how much screen there was at first (being in Alaska), but handled the 40-50 degree nights with ease and was quite comfortable by venting one of the fly's doors.
Also, this tent does have TWO doors... both on the front opening to the left and right (which is why this makes more sense as a two-person tent). Fly doors match the tent doors.
Bottom Line: Pleasant roominess, comfortable sleeping even in wet, humid, and low-temp conditions.
Overall a nice tent - good ventalation, easy setup, dry, good useable vestabule for 2 packs, space for 2 comfortably. Downsides: I can't imagine fitting 3 people, wall slopes in the back so you can only sit in the middle, but in the front it is nice and roomy, can't adjust/close the rear vent (not a big deal), doesn't come with enough stakes for the guy lines that come uncut and without tensioners, packs up pretty big in its stuff sack. I'm pretty critical, but really for 2 people this is a great tent to car camp and backpack with. I'm happy with it.
Just got mine. Length from back to point on front is probably about 102, while the widest part is probably about 83. Again, the 102 is to the point, so it seems a little smaller than that. Also, it tapers quite a bit in the back to probably 4 feet or so. Hope that helps!
We had 3 guys slepping in this tent in the BWCA, not enough room for 3 people, two would be snug enough. No condensation in the mornings, otherwise a good tent. Set up took me 5 minutes the first time setting it up, easy setup.
I don't know what size of people you're referring to but it fits my GF and I very comfortably, and we stack our packs next to us as to keep our sleeping pads snugged together, and there's still room for my 100lb German Shepherd. There's definitely enough room for 3 people and I'm 6'2" 190lbs. With 3 people you'd def have to toss your gear in the vestibule, but that is what it is for so nbd.
This is one of the roomiest 3 person tents around under 8lbs.
