Built with the same design and materials as the Havoc but with female-oriented flex, the Black Diamond Lyric Telemark Ski is a serious ski for women who rip up the backcountry. Among it's many praises, the Lyric won the Powder Magazine Skier's Choice Award. Designed and tested by pro skiers Kasha Rigby and Leslie Ross, the Lyric's softer tail flex allows easier turn transitions for lighter riders but maintains the power demanded by kickass ladies who leave the boys in a cloud of powder. This Black Diamond ski handles both telemark and AT bindings, so you can tear it up however you want. The Lyric is not some wimpy version of a men's ski; it's a hardcore ski for hardcore women.

Bottom Line: Don't settle for a flowery imitation. Ride your own bad ass ski.

I wanted performance, I got it!
I wanted my ski to race, It does!
I wanted to jib, just a little...

The tip & tail have the snap and the power to drive the edge on the steeps while having the torsional rigidity to hold an edge on ice. ANd they are so light! It is like having feathers on my feet and each ski run is like taking flight. These skis bust the powder without any chop. They carve the slopes up when I push the big mountain ride.

Never have I been so happy with one ski that can do it all. It is a pure Black Diamond design. A delight to surf in powder, but it was the fact that Atomic makes them for BD that sold me. High quality product with a 3 dimensional cap that drives my edges into the snow doing what I ask when I ask it.

You don't need my review to know that these are the skis for every discipline, AT, Tele, Alpine it is all the same on these sticks.
