For steep ice and mixed climbers, the Lockdown provides ease of entry and exit with a hassle-free design. The sliding wrist loop locks on to your wrist when weighted and releases easily when the pull loop is hooked over the head of the ice tool. The plastic buckle lets you pre-determine how tightly the wrist loop closes. Weight: 57 g (2.0 oz). Strength rating: 2.6 kN (600 lbf).

Black Diamond makes another leash for a couple of dollars less that is simpler and, well, it is simpler. This leash makes a lot of sense for an ice tool, but for an axe what it offers is just more cost and a bit more bulk.
