The Black Diamond Jackal Backpack carries a day's worth of gear into the mountains with a clean, lightweight design, and supportive suspension that moves with you as you climb. The blood and guts of the Jackal Backpack are its removable Y-rod suspension and ergo-molded back panel, which easily support your overnight load without inhibiting your ability to move freely while you're climbing. The helmet holder and ice axe loops tuck away to streamline this Black Diamond Backpack even further when they are not in use.

An Alpinists dream

An evolution is packs! This one carries like a dream. Big enough for serious alpinists searching for that sprint pack or for the ice climber who is getting after it. It has all the features I'll ever need plus the suspension and carry of my dreams. A great imporvement over those other lame packs that have always hurt my back.
