The Black Diamond Women's Induction Pants blur the line between mid-layers and hard shells by offering the wind-stopping performance of a hard shell with the stretch and comfort of a soft mid-layer. The WindStopper 3-layer shell fends off biting winds during dawn patrols and ice climbs, while the elastane blend face fabric keeps you moving with ease through the mountains. The fully taped seams prevent moisture from working its way through, and the DWR finish makes moisture bead along the face of the fabric.



The low-profile fit and harness-compatible design makes the Induction Pants great for climbing and ski mountaineering missions, and the internal gaiters with gripper elastic and lace hooks work just as well with ski boots as they do with mountaineering boots. The 3/4-length side zips allow for rapid ventilation and make for quick access to ski boots at the top of the skin track.
