Does this headlamp have a rechargeable...
Does this headlamp have a rechargeable battery pack that can purchased or does it take rechargeable batteries & what kind?
The battery pack itself is not rechargeable in the sense that you can't plug the pack into a power source to recharge. BUT, you could use 4 AA NiMH batteries, such as the Goal Zero, coupled with a recharging Goal Zero Guide 10 Plus. Any rechargeable batteries would go well with this headlamp, as long as you have a device to charge the batteries independent from the headlamp.
Michael is right, and this headlamp will take any type of rechargeable battery available, but if you really are planning to use this in cold temperatures, Lithium-ions are the best for the most reliable and longest lasting power. Since the headlamp is regulated, no need to worry about too much voltage burning up the circuitry.
