Their 3-layer construction fends off moisture whether you're getting your turns in the cold smoke of the Rockies or the dank mank of the Pacific Northwest, and the layers breathe so you won't feel stifled. Articulated knees for ease of movement for climbs and skiing, as well as a harness-friendly waist, mean you can wear the Front Point whether you're charging lines in the resort or working your way up a mixed route on a mountaineering trip.



Black Diamond rigged the Front Points with Keprotec-reinforced cuffs to protect from ski edges and crampons. It also added 3/4-length two-way zippered vents so you can ditch heat quickly on the climb up. Internal snow gaiters are equipped with gripper elastic, and boot lace hooks allow them to work with ski and mountaineering boots.
