The Black Diamond Dynotron Anodized Carabiner's large gate opening, big basket, and keylock system combine to make this ‘biner an ideal choice in sensitive situations where a missed clip means air time. Black Diamond designed the Dynotron Carabiner to make clipping as easy as possible—this ‘biner is always a welcome sight after a long runout or energy-sapping crux. The Dynotron's snag-free keylock system assures fast clips and makes it easier to clean overhanging sport routes.
Bottom Line: If the Black Diamond Dynotron Anodized Carabiner clipped any easier, it'd pull the rope from your hand and clip itself.

The key lock feature is great, I use these my draws on the side that clips to the rope since I don't have to worry about my fingers getting caught on the notch when I’m not thinking and pumped out.
What size rope will it work with? 1/2", 5/8", and or

The gate opens to just under an inch (for the bent gate, less for the straight), but since most climbing ropes are 10mm or less these days (a little under half an inch), it's not geared to bear huge amounts of weight from a big rope. I'd say 5/8" is the biggest you'd want to run through it.
