The Black Diamond Crossbow Ski provides excellent power for both telemark and AT skiing. Updated for '06, the Crossbow uses the next generation of Torsion Bow technology that started with the original. This creates greater power on the inside edge of the ski through the turn. Black Diamond also changed the flex pattern for easier transition between turns and lightened the Crossbow to make it more backcountry friendly. The Crossbow is a dream for aggressive telemark and AT skiers.
Bottom Line: Ski as hard as you want, the Crossbow can take it.

These are fantastic skis! I bought them this year for all backcountry use. Threw on some light bindings and these things fly! And they are super light. Great construction, flex when I need them to and stay rigid when I need them to. I have used these in all kinds of conditions, especially crappy ones cause that's all we had this year and they killed it. I felt a lot less struggle in the crud and heavy, wet snow but was able to put them up on edge and rock some railers. Love them!

This ski is great. It stands up to all the high reviews it has received. It is very stable at high speeds but still has the control needed to make tight turns. The skis are on the stiff side so probably not for beginners but for anyone who knows how to tele, this is a rocking ski.
