better than the creek 35
I used to have the creek 35 but the 50 straps and waist belt are more comfortable; I was also tired of spending time packing in the 35 but now I can more easily dump my gear in my pack

The best.
This bucket style pack is very comfortable to wear, roomy, and I love the side zipper access that allows you to easily snag things from the bottom.

Absolutely love this Creek 50
Absolutely love this Creek 50 Pack, it makes me look like a professional rock climber. Disadvantages: The front pocket is a bit big and difficult to organize things.

Excellent backpack requires organization from you
This is a super sturdy comfortable backpack but, the majority of the space is open so it requires some effort to use all the space effectively.

Mega Bucket of a Pack
Its a big bucket, but with a smart design. It opens easily from the top and the side. I like that the pack stands upright for easy loading/unloading. Enough room inside for all the gear I need for a solid day of cragging whether I'm top roping, sport or trad climbing along with my food, water, 1st Aid Kit, rain jacket, you get the picture. A few zip up pouches keep my wallet and keys secure as well. What surprised me the most was how comfortable the bag is to carry. I bought the larger size and I'm 6'1". I do a lot of hiking & backpacking and am very pleased with the comfort of this pack when weighted down. I'm not taking it for a weeks long backcountry trip, for a day of cragging with an easy or long approach its great!

Simply Amazing
This pack is the ultimate work-horse! I recently purchased the Creek 50 to replace my old Caliber 50 and I'm so glad I did! This pack is build to last, and the fine details are very well thought out. It fits all my daily needs from a simple sport rack to a full trad rack(or 2) for long days at the crag. Plenty of food, water, and extra layers also fit with no issues. I spend a lot of my days at the crag with my whole family, so packing enough gear for multiple top-ropes, both my kid's equipment, and plenty snacks is no issue.
