Comfy and dexterous

  • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I enjoy these gloves for warmer temps climbing and longer belay duty. The gloves are very dexterous and comfortable, making them usable in a wide range of nuanced climbing tasks. The gloves also breath well so summer temps don't make your hand sweat profusely. Unfortunately the synthetic leather on the palm doesn't last very long and starts to wear after multiple abseils.

Good gloves

These gloves are a bit thinner than the Petzl Cordex but it is durable enough and packs down smaller. Decent for single pitch and small multi pitch climbs but would recommend something a bit burlier for big wall climbing or longer multi pitch climbs.

Nice

I actually forgot I had these till a week ago, so not sure on durablity but I have used them twice since and they seem nice. I am able to lower my partner faster which we both like. They are very breathable which comes in handy when belaying a long pitch in the sun.

Decent belay glove

I have the half-finger version of these and loved them. I used mine as a zipline guide all summer and they held up moderately well until doing some mach-chicken tandems. The mesh makles them super comfy and keeps you from sweating, both of which were appreciated in the summer heat. They made it all season but sadly needed some duct-tape alterations to finish it out.
