The Black Diamond Women's Convergent Down Hooded Jacket combines the insulating properties of a down jacket with the weather protection of a technical shell. Insulated with PrimaLoft gold insulation, it utilizes a blend of weather-resistant-treated down and highly compressible synthetic fibers for an insulating layer that won't be useless if it happens to get wet. The lining is treated with a DWR (durable water resistant) coating to prevent your sweat from seeping into the fill, and it's outfitted with two drop-in storage pockets ideal for an extra set of gloves or warming climbing skins on ice-cold ski tours. The WindStopper 2-layer shell finds a middle ground between traditional hard and soft shells, offering protection from wind, rain, and snow while maintaining breathability for skiing and extended belays.
