Its PrimaLoft Gold Down Blend mixes ultra-fine synthetic fibers with water-resistant-treated goose down for all the benefits of both insulations: protection, packability, and superior softness. Black Diamond wrapped up this innovative insulation with a windproof Pertex Microlight shell and a downproof Pertex Quantum lining for superlight water-resistant protection. The Cold Forge also features an adjustable helmet-compatible hood, stretch gusseted cuffs, and a drawcord at the hem to further block out bad weather.
