mine broke after 6 uses (wires pulled out). Always needed the heaters on, even above freezing because insulation isn't the best. it is also a very heavy glove. However, it did work as advertised, kept warm with the heaters on at even 10 degrees.

I purchased these gloves when the Hestra Heater gloves I had bought earlier this year stopped working. One of the Hestra gloves had a wiring problem and would not stay on. So far, the Black Diamond gloves are terrific; however I am concerned as the wiring is exactly the same as that in the Hestra so we will see if these develop the same problem. I was concerned that the gauntlet looked so big in the photos, but it is actually perfect and just comes over my jacket cuff. Both these gloves and the Hestras tend to run a little small, so you are probably better off ordering a size larger than you would expect.

I had high hopes for these gloves. My husband suffers from Raynaud's syndrome and always has cold hands when skiing. I splurged on these gloves for him for Christmas, but they did not keep him warm. One battery would not turn on at all and the other one kept shutting off, even though both batteries indicated they were fully charged.

I bought these gloves because I always have cold hands when I ski. The first time I charged these new gloves up and went skiing with them in cold conditions they were GREAT!! But here it is a month later and I'm skiing out west and the conditions are sub zero, my gloves have been charging all night (the little green light on the charger says that they are charged), but once I turn them on, they stop working within an hours time! This was very frustrating because my hands were freezing and had to go in and get those chemical hand warmer inserts. This has happened now two days in a row and I do not trust these gloves and will send them back for repair of replacement. I'm going to use the regular Black Diamond gloves I got years ago with the warmer inserts from now on. I do not recommend paying all of this money for these electric gloves. At least, not until they work out the bugs.
