Would I be able to strap a pair of snowshoes...

Would I be able to strap a pair of snowshoes to the bungee strap on this pack?

The Burn pack is a smaller size pack that wont be wide enough to accommodate bigger models of snowshoes. You may be able to stretch it a bit and get a smaller pair on there but the fabric isn't designed to resist the sharp edges of snowshoes and the cord may end up fraying/snapping with repeated use lashing large sharp items.

Te Burn pack is a great day hiking pack, with the straps meant more to hold misc. extra items such as a rain jacket. I would recommend something closer to a snowboard backpack, since the straps will be long enough to securely attach snowshoes and the fabric will be a reinforced denier to resist abrasion. Check out the Burton AK 23L pack for a similarly sized simple pack:

Very Versatile Daypack

  • Familiarity:I've put it through the wringer

I bought this pack almost a year ago and have used it for snowshoeing, climbing, hiking, fishing, and had it as my daily pack at an outdoor camp I worked at for several months.

Pros: I've never had any trouble fitting extra layers or other necessities into this pack along with all of my gear for the day. It moves very well with your body even if you're twisting or reaching up and around for something. Its slim profile doesn't inhibit your balance as your hiking, climbing, etc. There are enough pockets to stash your random objects in, but not so many that you forget where you put your stuff.

Cons: You can only access the main compartment from the top. This means that you really have to think about how your packing everything in or just deal with sifting through everything on top to get down to the gear on the bottom.

does this pack have provisions for hydration...

does this pack have provisions for hydration bladder?

you can see the neoprene hole in the center of the pack just above the shoulder straps that's made for a bladder tube.

good pack

I really like this pack so far. I was bummed about the color though. I ordered the sulfur and when I got it, it was very green. Not yellow like the picture above. Other than that, I'm happy.

    Dimensions as i volume?
    Volume : [M] 26 L (1,587 cu in); [L] 28 L (1,700 cu in)
    Average Stock Weight : [M] 1,000 g (2 lb 13 oz); [L] 1,020 g (2 lb 4 oz)
    Materials : 210d Nylon Ripstop, 420d Nylon

    see this page:

I believe the question was not VOLUME but DIMENSIONS. Generally she wants to know the height, width and depth of the pack. Anyone out there know these numbers as I would like to know them too.

I have the medium pack and I measured it to be roughly 60 cm tall, 26 cm wide, and 25 cm deep when this pack is completely full.
