Dealing with heavy stiffies while you’re hut-to-hut touring it not ideal, which is why Black Diamond made the Men’s Axis Telemark Ski Boots with a forgiving 80 flex rating and a lightweight frame. FreeFlex bellows and a Triax-Tour frame provide a sweet, classic feel without sacrificing torsional control on descents. The thermoformable liner uses a single-pull speed lace closure to cut down on gearing-up time and the mechanically integrated ski/walk mode offers eight degrees of forward lean in three settings.
