Black Diamond gave its Aura Harness a women-specific design to keep you comfy on your redpoints. Kinetic Core Construction utilizes a thin layer of Vectran fibers to evenly distribute weight across your waist and legs, and 3D mesh ventilates airflow in and out. Black Diamond also added a Forged Speed Adjust buckle at the waist and elasticized leg loops for a quick on and off, and four pressure-molded gear loops hold all the quickdraws you need for longer routes.

Lightweight sport climbing harness
- Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
Sick and tired of back sweat patches when working your project on summer days? This harness would be great for you! It hardly feels like you're wearing anything and was a welcome change in the heat from bulkier harnesses. The below review is right: the leg loops run small. Not an issue for me. My upper thighs are about 19 - 20 inches around, and my size S Aura has fit coworkers with legs up to 21.
***UPDATE 7/18/2016*** I now recommend an XS in Black Diamond harnesses for anyone with measurements similar to or smaller than mine. My waist fluctuates between 25 and almost 27 inches, depending on how much I'm running. Since it's been a high-mileage, lean summer, I've had to downsize all my harnesses to XS. The smalls still fit safely, but only when strapped down as much as possible. Heavy trad gear and hanging at anchors would also be uncomfortable.
How do you know what a safe harness size is? The harness has to be tight enough that it won't slide over and off your hips in the case of you falling backwards or sideways.
Leg loops too small!
I used the sizing chart and I measure out as a small. When I tried the harness on, the waist band fit perfectly, but the leg loops were almost stretched to the max. When I bumped up to the medium, the waist band is totally maxed out (possibly not even snug enough), and the leg loops still fit snug but about how they should. I am 5'8'', weigh 138, and not too "curvy" really. So I am not sure whats going on with the proportions of this harness. But I love everything else about it.
