This harness is very comfortable and can help you manage a LOT of climbing gear. Great for all types/lengths of climbing. It is significantly thicker than my old harness and so I have noticed that it does not breathe as well and so it keeps me toasty in the summer.

I bought this for everything from sport routes to canyons in southern Utah and it's treated me well so far. The buckle on the waist(no manual doubleback required) was a pleasant surprise. Super easy to adjust and very comfortable. Looking forward to seeing how it will stand up to the sandstone jaws of Escalante.
No complaints!!

I bought this harness because my other black diamond harness(Focus Speed) had seen the end of its days. I do it all - ice, TR, sport, and trad - and wanted a harness that I could use for pretty much all those that was still considerably light weight. The aspect for sure does it for me. Havnt had a chance to try out the ice clipper slots yet but Ill let ya know when I do.
very comfortable harness(out at shelf road)

I am in love! Super padded compared to my Arc'teryx R280 Harness, cool colors, very comfortable, four stiff gear loops that don't flop around when your scrambling to grab a draw, loop for your chalk bag, fully adjustable waist and leg belts. Great for multi pitch sittin'. The only downside, if your the type that wants the lightest of light, is, because of the padding, it's slightly heavy. All in all, I love it and would definitely would recommend it!

How long should this harness last if you go climbing in the gym during the week and then outside trips on the weekend?

You should probably replace it after a few years, depending on the severity of the use. If you're regularly taking massive whippers, I would keep a close eye on the tie in points.
great harness

unfortunately i have yet to try this harness except for messing around on my home wall. i originally got the BD Chaos but the fixed leg loops just weren't going to work for me. I'm about a 33 waist and the size medium in this harness fits me like a dream. have yet to take a big fall on this harness but i can't wait to put it through its paces this spring.

Bomber harness. I've put a few seasons on it, with quite a bit of use and it's held up wonderfully. Not heavy at all, and has incredible padding(for a harness). I can barely tell that I have it on after a long day at the crag and oftentimes forget to take it off after I'm done, only to notice at the gas station that I look like a huge dork.
The plastic over the gear loops is nice and I hardly ever snag the hooks in my biners.
Not as burly or work oriented like some of the other harnesses, and a lot more comfortable than the superlight/super expensive harnesses, so that puts the Black Diamond Aspect right in the sweetspot for a very reasonable price.
Great harness!

I love this harness! It's amazingly comfortable, fully adjustable and has lots of space to fit your whole rack. 4 season use is a plus too. You won't regret it, I haven't yet.
Comfy!

I was looking for a harness to fit my skier thighs, and was getting skunked on every harness with fixed leg loops. When I tried this harness on it not only fit like a glove, but after adjusting the leg loops I now have the perfect fitting harness. Another plus of this awesome harness is that it can easily fit over ski layers for some technical descents, and also has carryall loops in between the gear loops for ice climbing compatibility.
This man fears no hanging belay now!

How functional are the ice clippers for multi-pitch trad climbing or do they cause more headaches than they are worth?

Way more headache than they are worth! I was all excited about them and bought a couple. They are garbage, dont waste your time. It is way faster and easier to keep a couple of slings over your shoulder with some biners and then rack all your pro on the 4 loops.

Does anyone know if the haul loop is body weight rated? It sure does look pretty beefy.
Lyric Rosatti

Haul Loop: 12kN-rated.
However, still exercise caution when using it for anything where a life is at stake. The haul loop is meant for hauling, even when it is rated at 12kN.
Outside of hauling purposes, I would be sketch about doing anything much more than rappelling with this loop, and I would still run a sling around my body to the loops in the front as a back up. I would NOT belay or fall from the haul loop.

As a first time user, I found this harness really easy to use and fe;t secure using it as well. We wore this on summit day on Elbrus and were roped up on the way down. So limited usage but felt good using this product. Was very comnfortable around the legs with the adjustable strap.
