    My favorite pad

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

Have the 1.5" mummy model that is good down to 0 degrees. Have had it for four years and never have had a problem with it. I store it rolled , and in the stuff sack provided (I don't have the space to store it inflated). Prior to use, I inflate it to make sure there are no leaks, and to make it easier to inflate in the back country. The valve is half brass, so once a year or so, I spray the tip of a Qtip with WD-40 and run it around the threads on the metal half of the valve. A great pad, you actually stay on it when sleeping; unlike other pads there is no pool float feeling. I highly recommend it. Unless the weather is warm, and I can be assured that I will be warm on a more compact pad, this is my pad of choice. **Below the TWO TRACK attached to my multi day pack.

    My favorite pad

    Comfortable Pad!!

    • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

I used my pad for the first time the other night, and I was very comfortable. My sleeping bag stayed put and did not slide around on it like it did on my last pad... Like any pad, you can not rely solely on the self inflation. You need to give it a few breaths to top it off. It rolls and packs easily and doesn't take up a lot of space. I'm quite happy with my purchase!!
