A big bag for big dudes.

The folks at Big Agnes were looking out for all you Paul Bunyan types when they created the Summit Park 15-Degree Down Sleeping Bag. The Summit Park combines oversized dimensions with a semi-rectangular mummy shape to give you more room in the shoulders and footbox.
  • Rated down to 15F, this bag is best suited for cold, sheltered nights in the mountains and winter nights in milder climates
  • Big Agnes sleeping bags leave out the bottom insulation, both to save weight and because down compressed by your body weight loses most of its insulating value
  • Note: bag requires a 25-inch-wide rectangular sleeping pad to be fully insulated (sleeping pad available separately)
  • Tough nylon ripstop outer shell provides durable protection
  • The 600-fill down compresses and rebounds well and features a high warmth-to-weight ratio
  • Insotect Flow construction eliminates potential cold spots, and its vertical baffles allow for a more uniform body heat distribution
  • Built-in pillow pocket keeps your pillow in place
  • Interior fabric loops to keep your liner in place

Will the Exped Downmat 7 that is 26" wide fit in this bag?

Best Answer Responded on

The Downmat 7 is a pretty thick pad, besides being 1" wider than what the bag's sleeve is designed to take. You might make it fit, but even if it will slip in, it's going to always be a little cupped because it's not going to be able to lie down perfectly flat. For the BA bags, it might be best to use one of their compatible pads. Hope this helps.

What is the best pillow to use for this bag that is comfortable and big.

Two unrelated items. A pillow that's comfortable and big will work with any sleeping bag. Take a look at the WM Cloudrest ( and the large Thermarest Down PIllow (
