Grab a couple buddies and head for the hills with the Big Agnes Seedhouse 3-Person 3-Season Tent. The Seedhouse gives you a full-mesh tent-body for wide-open, bug-proof ventilation. That should keep the heat and some of the stink at bay. It’s a shame that Big Agnes doesn’t make anything to stop the snoring.

  • Three-season, free-standing design for maximum versatility
  • Lightweight silicone-treated nylon rip-stop fly with 1200mm polyurethane coating keeps the rain out
  • Two floor pockets for valuables
  • Fully taped seams for durable waterproofness
  • Bathtub-design for added durability and weatherproofing
  • Includes 11 ultra-light aluminum tent stakes

Bottom Line: Easy to pack, easy to plant.

I own the tent and wouldn't consider putting three people in it -- outside of a dire emergency.

I'm not sure about the durability but I have to say I doubt you could fit 4 guys in there. These days saying a tent fits 3 people means they are gonna be really, really close/almost on top of each other. So I just don't see it possible to get 4 people semi-comfortably in a 3 person tent.

Great tent

I pitched this tent in my backyard in the middle of a Utah winter for two weeks, now. Better to test it there, than in the back-country. It held up easily to 40mph gusts, rain and light snow. I even put the garden hose on it one day when temps were above freezing. It stayed bone dry inside. Last night was -15 degrees with windchill so I tested out my Kelty bag inside the tent. Toasty warm. So far I'd say "Highly Recommended," and would call it a 3.5-season tent.
