Lightweight materials and 800-fill down helps the Big Agnes Women\222s Peggy SL Sleeping Bag get to just over two pounds and maintain excellent insulation. This women\222s specific bag features a tailored shape to put insulation where you need it, and you get a draft collar to keep the warm air from escaping. Like all Big Agnes bags, the Peggy SL features a sleeping pad slot in place of bottom insulation which would just get compressed and become worth less anyway.

Bottom Line: Go light and sleep tight.

Does this bag have a half sleeping pad sleeve (meaning the leg section is free to move around) or a full sleeve that goes the whole length of the bag?

Also, does it have the built in pillow space where you can stuff an extra fleece or inflatable pillow and it won't move around?

I guess I just don't really get the fascination with EN ratings, but I'll offer this. Big Agnes makes a quality bag that consistently meets their stated temperature ratings. If you want a 15 degree bag, and you like this one, go for it. If it doesn't meet your expectations, send it back. Ratings don't matters if the bag doesn't perform (or if it does, for that matter).

great bag

I love this sleeping bag! When ordering, I was worried that the lack of insulation on the upper bottom would leave me cold, but it has not at all, even on cold rainy nights. Have my pad strapped onto the bag is great - no more rolling off it during the night. The down is soft, warm and evenly distributed, and the exterior is silky. The pocket for a pillow, or fleece or whatever you use as a pillow while camping is another awesome feature. Overall, awesome sleeping bag. Lightweight yet warm and comfy.

I recently ordered this item and made my decision based largely

I recently ordered this item and made my decision based largely on the stuff size among other features. However, when I got it and did stuff it into the stuff sack-it was not 7.5 by 6.5 inches (more like 14 by 8) Did I misunderstand something? Or, do I need to purchase another brand of stuff sack to get it to be that small? Thanks!

You didn't miss anything, the specs are wrong. Stuffed, the Peggy in a small is 7.5x15" and the large is 8x17.5".

To get it down to about the same diameter, but about half the length, and waterproof, try one of these in a medium size.

item# STS 0002

Or, if waterproof isn't necessary, one of these in a small size-

The sleeping bag can fit any sleeping pad up to 20" wide. Then for length probably just a regular unless you want to go with a different size.
