Is rain a possibility during your summer camping trip? Then pack the lightweight Big Agnes Nugget Sleeping Bag. This 45-degree-rated sleeping bag features PrimaLoft eco, a synthetic insulation made from 50% recycled materials. Synthetic insulation retains its loft even when wet so you don't have to sleep in a stuffy tent just because the clouds look a tad threatening. Should a gentle midnight drizzle turn into a deluge and you have to make a run for your just-in-case tent or a rock overhang, you won't spend the night shivering in your wet bag—instead you'll be cozy nestled inside the Nugget's windproof and waterproof shell. The Nugget features a sleeping pad sleeve on its bottom where you slide your Big Agnes rectangular pad. This integrated sleep system ensures you stay put on your pad all night.

Bottom Line: In damp weather, stay dry and comfy inside your Big Agnes Nugget Sleeping Bag.

Summer Bag

By:

First off, this is a waterproof summer bag. It is rated to 45 degrees and that may be pushing it. I bought this strictly for a warm weather bag and it fits my needs perfectly. Synthetic insulation and like all Big Agnes bags it does not have any insulation in the bottom of the bag. Comes with stuff and storage sacks.

Did BA discontinue this bag? If so, what was the reasoning behind

Did BA discontinue this bag? If so, what was the reasoning behind it and did they replace it with another?

Yes, this bag was discontinued. It was not replaced with another waterproof bag. Probably discontinued because of low sales...

Exceeded expectations

Great bag. Used it on a 14 day bike trip across Canada. Packs very small and is really light. Kept me warm enough most nights but I was wearing long underwear and a hoody at night (didnt really shower too much so I stuck to the inside of the bag without clothes on). Great bag and the pad is awesome (crazy comfy and durable). Highly recommend.
