Description

A toasty down bag to crawl inside between perfect powder days in the backcountry.

Stay toasty during your overnight stay in the barely heated yurt with some help from the Big Agnes Women's Fria 15-Degree Down Sleeping Bag. Thanks to its Insotect Flow construction and baffle design, this bag provides uniform insulation and heat retention for your big backcountry trip.

  • Rated down to 15F, this bag is best-suited for cold, sheltered nights in the mountains and winter nights in milder climates
  • Big Agnes sleeping bags leave out the bottom insulation both to save weight and because down compressed by your body weight loses most of its insulating value
  • Note: bag requires a 20-inch-wide rectangular- or mummy-shaped sleeping pad to be fully insulated (sleeping pad available separately)
  • Tough nylon ripstop outer shell provides durable protection
  • A zipper draft tube, an insulated hood, and an insulated wedge between the bag and pad seal you off from chilly air
  • Left or right zipper options can be zipped together with compatible bag to form a two-person slumber party
  • Built-in pillow pocket holds a fleece hoody or Big Agnes-brand pillow

Great for temps above 40

I have used this bag a couple of times now and maybe it's just me, but I am not quite excited about the missing insulation on the bottom. My sleeping pad fits in it perfectly, but I feel like I get colder easier without the extra insulation. This past weekend was very cold and rainy and the temp got down to about 30 degrees and I was cold. Keep in mind I was also completely soaked before getting into dry clothes and the bag so it was difficult to warm up. I think if I had not been wet I may have been warmer. On days when I am dry and the temp is around 40, I am perfectly toasty.

i really like this bag i am 5' 5" and ordered a short size which works great for me, it is snuggly but i like that. not small,
just fits me well. i still am getting used to the no insulation on the bottom, a sleeping pad is no trouble to fit into the existing sleeve thats there for it but i sleep in a hammock some trips, so its just one more thing to keep straight. thats not even a justifiable complaint however. it is warm and everything i had hoped.
