Make your tent a home.
You could hang a "home sweet home" tapestry from the wall of your tent to make it feel a bit more homey; although, we can't really recommend putting a thumbtack through the wall of your tent. The better option would be to get the Big Agnes Fly Creek UL 2 MtnGLO Two-Person Three-Season Tent and feel right at home the first time you set it up thanks to the integrated MtnGLO technology. Big Agnes took its popular ultralight Fly Creek Tent and added a strand of durable LED lights to the equation to keep the tent well lit during those dark, moon-less nights. The LED strand is powered by an easy-to-use controller that is powered by three AAA batteries (not included), and the light strand is integrated into the tent's seams, so it's still packable and easy to store.
The Fly Creek UL 2 still weighs a feathery two pounds and has a fast-pitch weight of just a pound and half (footprint sold separately). The Fly Creek may be light, but it's still resilient to rain and wind thanks to its PU coated nylon ripstop fly and floor, fully sealed seams, and steep pitch, which allows moisture to efficiently roll down the sides of the tent. A mesh ceiling helps keep the tent cool during hot summer nights when rain is always a possibility, and the three internal mesh pockets keeps, gear, cards, and your flask handy during those nights and days when weather keeps you walled up in your tent waiting for the weather to clear out enough to make a quick attempt at the summit.

The Perfect Tent
- Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
Where to begin. I absolutely love this tent; Big Agnes knows what it's doing when it comes to making pack-able, lightweight tents that are still durable and able to withstand those stormy conditions. I got this tent before starting a season on a trail crew and it was my only home for 6 months straight. I was camped at high elevation in Colorado during their "monsoon" season and this tent held up without a single issue. It's the perfect size for two people or for one person and all their gear. I had an 85L pack that I stowed in my tent instead of leaving it in the vestibule all the time and there was always plenty of room. Overall this is an awesome tent that will not disappoint or fall apart on you. Its insanely light and packs down to so small you'll forget its in your pack on that long hike in. The MtnGLO lights are a nice touch to an already great tent to give a nice ambiance when you're getting ready to settle in for the night.
