Very nice tent

  • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

I just used this tent for the first time on a late summer backpack in NH's White Mountains. Plenty of room for one plus some gear, easy set-up and liked the zipperless door.

nice lightweight tent

  • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

this is a nice very lightweight tent. excellent material. i own several big agnes tents and the quality/price is really good in my opinion. i needed a single backpacking tent for in between two person seedhouse and biwysack. i thought i give the zipperless design a try. i used it on a two day backpacking trip and it failed . the overlap does not completely close the tent and the bugs creep in thorugh the gap.
thanks to backcountrys superior customer service i ll return it and get the seedhouse 1 with a real zipper.
bottom line if you dont deal with bugs, mosquitos and such it is a fine solution. the tent material and tent weight is great at this price level

Is there a footprint option for this tent?...

Is there a footprint option for this tent? i cant find it on this site.

Both tents share the same footprint because they both have the same dimensions and pole grommets. SL and UL designations are just for the tent materials, not the footprints.

You're not the first person to get tripped up a little on this one. Big Agnes regularly uses interchangeable footprints between the weight classes of like-named tents.
