    A trip for two.

That romantic, all-expenses paid trip to Cabo didn't happen like you two had planned, but lucky for you, there's a campsite hours away from home, and the Big Agnes Dream Island Sleeping Bag feels like a tropical getaway anyway. Thermolite Extra synthetic insulation helps you feel like you're sunbathing on a beach, even if you're camping in freezing temperatures.

The Dream Island also features Big Agnes' Free Range hoods that allow both of you to move your heads for a goodnight kiss, even with the hoods snugged tight. The Pillow Barns secure soft pillows inside pockets so you don't lose said softness by the morning. There are draft tubes around each zipper and collar for extra comfort, and the corner hand pockets tuck over your shoulders for more coverage.

    Initial impressions

We just got this bag and I'm glad we got it for a car camping because it isn't very light! I like the bag and it seems like it will be great for my wife and I. We bought it to take our 16 month old kiddo camping and so we could have him between us. Back up plan is that I have another sleeping bag so my wife and son can be together in this. I'll update after we use it here soon.

      Ok, not great....

The stitching on the left side where the two zippers meet started to break due to pressure. As you can clearly see this side was not stitched correctly. As I checked the other side which was stitched correctly this obviously was a mistake. The bag keeps you warm but I was not able to fit both of my 25" Cosmo insulated pads in the pad sleeves. Maybes miss read it but I thought 50 inches of pad would fit. I realize one pad that spanned 50 inches would be easier but two spanning the same length should fit but they over lap in the middle.

        Ok, not great....

        Hey Everyone,

My Wife and I recently purchased this bag for a weekend trip in the Tetons on Memorial weekend. This sleeping bag did not disappoint at all. The nights were cold, around 30 degrees and this bag kept us toasty throughout the night! The arm pockets on the side of the bag are a great idea and the top of the bag is so big it feels like a comforter over you. The material that they used for the inside is perfect. The only thing I would change is the bottom is just material it has no insulation. We knew this going into this bag so a Sleeping pad that is insulated is a MUST! We used it in the Sierra Designs Convert 3 with a blow up air mattress.

Don't forget to buy the pad!

I bought this sleeping bag to take car camping and for our pop-up RV. Seemed like a great alternative to 2 sleeping bags and I was right! It fits nicely in the camper and weighs only 10 lbs. It's too big to use on a backpacking trip as it doesn't pack down very small.
Had to give it 4 stars because this is a multi part piece and we didn't know it. Luckily we had the foam mattresses in our camper for the first use, because there isn't any padding on the backside of the bag. It takes 2 pads that are 25" x 78"s long. I believe you can also purchase some pillows to go in the top as well, but for now I'll be bringing our own from home : ). If we had known this before purchasing, I might have opted for a different duo bag. As for the insulation and comfort, WORKS AWESOME and totally loved it!
