Designed for all but the harshest winter conditions, the Hahns Peak is part of Big Agnes' Divide SL superlight collection, and true to the name, it weighs in at well under four pounds. The super-warm 800-fill goose down accounts for over two pounds of that weight, while the Pertex Quantum nylon ripstop shell and soft nylon taffeta lining make up the rest of the tough but comfortable balance. To keep your bag extra toasty, Big Agnes built in a no-draft collar, wedge, and zipper, with an additional draft-blocking tube along the zipper to keep cold air outside where it belongs.

It's important to note that the Hahns Peak uses Big Agnes' BA System, which forgoes insulation on the bottom of the bag in favor of an integrated pad sleeve that saves weight without losing insulation value. In a traditional bag, the down under your body gets compressed and loses its insulating properties anyway, so by using a 20in wide sleeping pad instead, you actually boost heat retention while cutting ounces, because you'll probably be bringing a pad regardless. The Hahns Peak comes with storage and stuff sacks, too, so you can keep your bag in good shape when you're traveling or killing time at home between adventures.
