Some days you just don't feel like massive head trauma. For those days, the Bern Watts Helmet takes a beating (multiple beatings, actually) when you find yourself upside-down underwater with your head dragging. The super-tough ABS shell is much better suited for head-banging than your skull is, and Brock foam mixed with EVA keep everything nice and comfy in there.
- CE 1385 certified protection
- Several color choices so you can have it your way
- Soft, breathable Brock impact foam for comfort and protection
- Lined with water-resistant EVA and laminated neoprene

The helmet was not true to size. Although I measured a Medium, I ended up with an Extra Small. Both the Medium and Small were much too large and had to be returned...so I would assume it just runs large. Otherwise, no complaints!
- Gender: Male
- Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
Definitely the best helmet I've ever ridden in. I wakeboard both cable parks and boat, and have taken some pretty big hits, even on the rails. The "sink-fit" will not allow the helmet to wiggle around your head (so you don't have to keep adjusting it, like I had to with some of my previous helmets), and the visor is just the perfect size to keep the sun out of your eyes, without sacrificing your peripheral vision. Simply enjoyment to ride in...
Good lookin' lid, far too small
I haven't used the helmet yet so I can't say much about its functionality, but I do know it runs small. My head measured 23 inches so I bought the large which tops out at 23 1/4. It was far too small, like headache inducing small. I just ordered the XL and am hoping for a better fit. Will report back with what I find. The helmet looks great though and provides excellent coverage, plus I am stoked that it can be used it for street trials when I'm not playing in the water.
Absolutely love this helmet!!
I absolutely love this helmet. Fits great, looks great, and most of all has saved my head on a number of diggers since. I ordered a small which felt almost too snug when dry, but fits PERFECTLY in the water. My recommendation is to measure your head and if between sizes, go smaller for sure.
