the hardhat is pretty cool. The music is sweet and it fits like a glove. I just wish it was more clear that it isn't a "helmet" and not meant for high impact, just multiple medium impact. it is a "hardhat," not a helmet so it does not offer as much protection as an actually helmet. The helmet feels good and definitely helped with impacts, but it is a bit misleading.

This helmet seems a little smaller in size Medium than my old Boeri, wondering if I should return it for a Large instead, or if that would be loose on my head... anyon have a comparison out there between Boeri and Bern sizing?

What can I say but A+ Low profile helmet with a good sound system..... It is perfect to transition to different climates as the ear insert removes easy. Also, there is a vent guard that can be easily taken out. BC suggested this helmet and I'm glad they did. I now can ski without feeling "special" with low profile head gear.

yes, there is a thin neoprene removable pad in the top of the helmet but only for the top vents.. a little less easy than my old boeri with a slide to open/close but it is better than nothing.

Have not used the helmet yet, but the fit is excellent and the itunes seem to work great.

If you are looking for a helmet to fit your dreadlocks, this is the one. Snug fit with 130 thin dreads on medium size head. The speakers are also very nice. Good quality sound. Perfect fit with Oakley goggles.
